How do you calculate zero sequence resistance and reactance for an Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) power cable?
As someone indicated, to calculate for zero sequence resistance, I'd have to include the resistance of one of the phases, plus three times the resistance of the cable outer shield (insulation resistance):
Rm = Km x log10(D/d),
where Km = insulation factor (PPE=50,000, EPDM=20,000)
D = diameter of the insulated conductor
d = diameter of copper conductor
But I can't figure out how to obtain zero sequence reactance. Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it.
