I'm not keen enough to be able to contribute much to this forum, but it's the first thing I check on every day when I get home from work. Keep up the good work... I find many of your hints and suggestions very helpful.
I haven't seen this question come up yet, but I don't think of it myself until I get to the drawing phase of my projects. When attaching a note or hole dimension with a leader, quite often it becomes necessary to zig-zag the leader line once or twice to avoid other dimensions or to avoid spreading the views too far apart. I haven't been able to find a way to do the zig-zag. (ie: in Autocad, when you start a leader sequence, you touch the point you are identifying, then attach a new segment of leader each time you click until the final "return" ends the leader portion and starts the text portion of the command.)
I'm using SW2001 so I guess it's possible that this matter is covered in newer releases. I'm stumped and hoping someone has a "work around" for this situation.
Thanks,
Dennis
