Zinc plated lifting eyes

Hi,

I need to purchase some DIN 580 lifting eyes. I was wondering if there is any danger in using zinc plated ones. I know that zinc plating is bad for threaded fasteners in fatigue if they are over a certain hardness. Does anyone know if this would apply to these lifting eyes?

Pretty much all our precast lifting hardware is hot dipped and I don't believe we've ever broken an anchor ever.

Eyebolts for lifting are typically a high strength alloy but they are annealed after forging.

If they are certified, that certification would include whatever coating is on them.
