I'm looking for industrial grade ZrO2/Y2O3 zirconia ceramic rod (8-10mm in diameter) that meets the properties listed below. I assume the properties apply to the material in its fired state as applicable. Preferably the rod would come in green so that we could grind/machine to net shape prior to firing and then skim cut to final dimensions. I'd go to the supplier where I got the material data from, but they want to sell me finished parts only.

ZrO2/Y2O3 Composition: 95/5%
Density: 6.05 g/cm^3
Open porosity: 0%
Grain size (mli): 0.4 ?m
Vickers Hardness: 1200 Hv
Mohs Hardness: 8 Mohs
Compressive strength: 2000 MPa
Flexural strength: 1000 MPa
Young’s modulus: 200 GPa
Fracture toughness K1c: 8 MN/m^(3/2)
Posson ratio: 0.31
Max. operating temp: 1000°C
Thermal expansion (20-1000°C): 10 10^-6/K
Thermal conductivity: 2.5 W/mK
Specific heat: 500 J/kg K

You want to be responsible for meeting properties?
I would make them rough machine and fire.

Ed:

Point well taken but time is money so if we can machine and fire it in house and get close the material properties close enough for proof of concept, then I say it's worth a try. I may also be delusional that we can even machine a green billet in house.
