Zooming in r14 and 2002 dialog box problem

In R14 when i go to zoom, I do the following:
z enter and then either left click a window or right click, hold my left mouse button and scroll up or down to zoom in or out.

But in 2002 when i do the same thing i get a dialog box with all the zoom comands in it. Is there any way to turn it off so my copy of 2002 is the same as R14.

Dear R1-2-NV,

Just set the "SHORTCUTMENU" system variable to 0(zero).
