ISO 5167 (or ASME MFC-3M)

1. Is the ASME standard a copy of the ISO, or vice versa?

2. What, if anything, should be done to consider the effect of swirl from pumps? The ISO standard doesn't go into this, just has minimum pipe lengths downstream of fittings/bends etc. Did/does the ASME standard have minimum distances from pumps, or require flow conditioners downstream?
