Hi Anyone here familiar with traffic modeling software called V-sim. I am looking at an RFP that is requesting the use of this software, and I can't find it anyware online or in catalogs. Is it compatible with any of the more popular software like synchro or passer? Any information would be usefull, thanks.

Do you mean VISSUM and/or VISSIM? It's pretty big in Europe and I have an old demo version lying around somewhere...

Sorry for the short Reply. Vissim is made by PTV America and can be found online at Its a fairly expensive software. Im pretty sure it is compatible with Synchro.

Thanks I think it was a typo in the RFP. You are right they really ment Vis-Sim.

Wow you are right the software is expensive to expensive to purchase for one project, I am probably going to have to team up with another firm, the part I will go after will be the data collection.
