I'm trying to find out what the temperature limitations are for 316L Stainless. However such info on any of the common Stainless Steel grades would be most welcome

Temperature limitations are determined based on design application; for example high temperature oxidation exposure is a limitation, creep deformation is a limitation and load-carrying capacity is a limitation. What is your application for this material?

The Outokumpu corrosion tables are good.
There are also some souce that deal with high temp corrosion. The book, High Temperature Corrosion of Engineering Alloys by George Lai is one of the best.
Traditionally the other limit is oxidation in air, but first you need to know a few things. Is it constant exsposure or cyclic, what is the air velocity, what about humidity or combustion products in the air
