sap version 8 coordinate systems

I basically need to rotate my diaphragm 30 degrees at a certain floor. When I try to create a new coordinate system, with 30 degree rotation about the z axis, it does not seem to work. I know SAP has a number of bugs, but I feel like I must be doing something wrong here.

Anyone know how to do this with version 8?
