hi everyone!!!

i would like to do a time history analysis for a simple steel structure with SAP2000 v8.33. My problem is that i couldn't assigned plastic hinges for a beam with variable section (non prismatic). if anybody can help me...please tell me.

Hi,
If i understand, I think u want to perform a pushover analysis, which is available just for a static analysis (STATIC PUSHOVER ANALYSIS), so u can not perform a time history analysis and assign in the same time some plastic hinges.
