slowing down frames in matlab movie file

Hi,

I have created a matlab movie file by getframe command. I can play the movie with the framespeed that i specify, but when i want to convert the movie in mpeg format using mpgwrite, it converts without slowing down the frames and that results in a faster playing file. How do i change that in an mpeg file?
