We are trying to decide which would be best for the fore mentioned application. Possibly considering a guided wave radar or may be displacer xmtr. Any suggestions?

Conventional float-type level transmitter will do the job. Just avoid internal piping connections and attach your level gauges directly to the tower nozzles (no extended piping inside the tower).

If this is a chimney total draw-off tray, ensure that 100% liquid level is below the chimney overflow area (top rectangular section). And provide internal overflow pipe some 100-200mm below chimney heighgt in order to avoid flooding the chimney and packing bed above when your LT/LC starts malfunctioning, for any reason.

petrotech50, these guided wave radar are popular nowadays, but I have had mixed results in different applications. For MVGO it will probably work, but then a displacer or dP cell will work for sure.

I agree with the comments from EmmanuelTop, except that I have seen many total draw trays without a special overflow.
