Hey there, I'm a recent electronics technology grad.I've done courses in embedded system design and C programming ( as well as a ton of other things).
I've got an old 68hc11EVB demo board with 8k external RAM and the buffalo monitor, and I'd like to improve my software skills.I want to practice programming in C.I've got the GNU ported compiler for the hc11, and all sorts of assemblers, and I've done some simple assembly programs, but I don't know where to start with the C programing. The GNU compiler has no instructions, and I don't know where to begin.
I'm confused about things like ie:
what's involved in initializing the processor?
what about assembler directives such as code origins?
how do I know what mnemonics I can use for registernames?
how do I do ANYTHING?
HHEEELLP!!!!
