1.If I change the number of sections to "2" and the number of Internal Sections to "5" will that effect the member forces or joint reactions?

2.I would assume that changing these would only effect the shear & bending code checks is that a correct assumption?

It will definitely affect the code checks. But, it will not affect any of the joint results (joint deflections, joint reactions, et cetera).

It will NOT affect any of the member end reactions. But, the member forces along the length of the members will be shown at very few locations.
