Good Afternoon all,

I am fairly new to PLC equipment and have begun purchasing surplus equipment.

My question is regards to Siemens PLC equipment. On the labels they have numbers 1 - 10 written on and there is always one of these numbers crossed off.

My questions are:

1) What do these numbers signify
2) Does this mean that the parts are used if a number has been crossed off or is this crossed off at time of production by the factory?

Thanks,

Andy

It is a different number crossed off on each one or always the same number? Could you upload a picture by chance, I am not sure exactly what it is but I am still curious to see.

Production runs. Nothing significant to you.
