Hello -
I have a need for an elastomer that performs reasonably well up to 150% elongation with little to know hysteresis - either in single loading or repeated stretching. We have tested lots of materials and so far, thermo-set polyurathanes perform the best. We have been searching for a TPU material which could work because the volume of the part really lends itself to injection molding (500,000 + a year). Every place we have gone turns into a major testing/research project. Anyone out there aware of someone who has worked a lot with rubber/elastomer materials in applications like this?
Thanks!
