DIVIDED BALLOON IN NX PARTS LIST 1

I'm using NX 9 and I'm having a problem with parts lists balloons. I want to use a divided balloon with the top half of the balloon showing the item number and the bottom half of the balloon showing the sheet number. Right now I can manually enter in the item number in the parts list and NX will automatically update the top half of the balloon. If I use auto-balloon, I can't edit the balloon at all. If I manually create the balloon, I can edit the balloon, but any edits I make are wiped out when I update the parts list. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you select your Parts List note, press MB3 and select the 'Settings' option you'll be able to change the auto-balloons to a divided circle and then they will work just like normal single undivided balloons (per the image below). Of course you'll need to manually add the Page designater but at least the Callout portion of the symbol will be automatic and will properly update.

Adding the sheet number, or page designator, to the bottom of the divided balloon is the problem that I'm having. I can edit the manually created balloons, but as soon as I "update parts list" the manual edit of the lower half of the divided balloon disappears. If I MB3 over the parts list and enter the settings, is there a way to change the main symbol text option to "Callout" on the top and "user defined" on the bottom...similar to the way "Callout and Quantity" displays as a divided balloon?

Here is the way that my parts list is setup right now...Thanks!

The best that you can do is add the page number as a separate note but you could associate it to the symbol so as they move it will move as well, as if it were actually part of the original divided circle. See below for the settings that you would need to use to get a number in the bottom half of the divided circle and make it associative with the location of the original balloon.

Thanks John! That will work. However, NX should really look into adding a tool that simplifies this to their drafting package. If NX can recognize callout and quantity then it should be able to recognize callout and any other variable associated to that specific item.
