Would anyone be in possession of "Register of Shipping of the People's Republic of China, Rules for the Classification and Construction of Fixed Offshore Platforms, 1994 or 1992"?

Unless you intend to class your platform to the Chinese Classification of Shipping, you require their rules. I believe their is no requirement to class a platform in China. But you do required the platform to be certified by one of the four classification societies, name DNV, ABS, Lloyd, and CCS according to "Safety Rules for Offshore Fixed Platforms".

I do have the 1992 version. But a much latter version was issued probably sometimes in 2000 or 2001.

How can I help?

Many thanks for the replies I have received.
CooCS could you possibly e-mail me the list of contents of your rule book? (lauri.erroll@wartsila.com)
