I have this following staircase. step '1' connects to concrete slab and step '12' sits on wall below. step 15/16 connects to the slab above. Now I am wondering if I need additional support at say step 4/5? What's your thoughts? If not, How do I analyse this? I am also wondering what it looks like at winder landing? I googled but had no luck. Can you share some details of this kind of staircase? Thanks.

Sorry forgot the add the picture. If additional supports are required, where would you put?

What type of material are you using for the stair? Wood, Steel, Concrete?

Yes, tread 4 needs to be supported. I also suggest that you look at your local code for stair provisions. Under IRC, the inside edge of the tread must be 6", iirc.

kipfoot is right. It's dangerous to have treads come to a point.

What type of wall along steps 4 to 11, can't you utilize it?
