ETABS confussion

You can check the BMD for the respective load combination which is giving you that moment and justify whether it is appropriate. Sometimes there are connectivity issues and other various problems which require troubleshooting to get the correct solution.

Thank you for your reply NewbieInSE but what is BMD and why this problems appear? Are they internal issues of the ETABS?

I don't think it's any problem. BMD is the short form of bending moment diagram. Please check it for the respective load combination, check if there is any sharp change and also compare it with your design result.

There might be modeling issue which you should check thoroughly

I was checking BMD of Column and nowhere does this value (324KN-m) appear.

I also checked in Show Tables>Element Output>Table: Element Forces Column and this value doesn't appear either. (i attached an Excel file with results Link)

I have seen that this high value appears in seismic combinations only and in design report.

I shared my model to another engineer who has an older ETABS version and this value doesn´t appear. I have Etabs V.18.0.2. Looks like a version mistake. I dont know.
