Does the Eurocode has a rule in case where there is Large Loaded area Aload,in which punching shear is ignored and may be shear verification is required? For example for a column with large diameter, with dia >1.5m and slab of 25 cm. My thinking is that i have large area and i do not have concentrated shear forces around the column loaded area, in that case shear force will be decisive. But this is just my take, i am interested if there is something is there in the Eurocode.
