How can I make a function structure diagram for a remote control?

Hi,
I'm wondering how to make a FSD for a regular TV remote control. I'm having some trouble trying to devise one because I don't quite understand how to connect all of the different subsystems and functions and all. I did search online but I didn't find a useful representation of a remote control FSD that I could follow - I found ones for a coffee maker and some nail thing and bean roaster. Not sure how to construct an FSD for a remote control, though. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
