Hello all,

i have question regarding a calculation i performed. I did a calculation on the bolted flange connection, using 1/16th of the complete geometry (the flange has 16 bolt holes). I used symmetry and so far, so good, but i want to present the results for a full flange. I can easily copy elements, but is there a way copy copy output as well?

No. The only solution is to copy/reflect mesh, merge nodes, update loads and constraints and run analysis of full mesh.

why would you want to copy the results ? you've modelled 1/16th with symmetry, should be GTG.
I can see little reason for copying results, exceppt if you're trying to fake out running the full flange ??

if you're checking this, running the full flange, maybe for some other loadcases, the first one I'd run would be to re-run your symmetric model loads.

rb - because they want a "pretty" image for the powerpoint presentation; got to wow mgmt.
