AB E300 overload module

Has anyone ever had an E300 module that WILL NOT separate. The control (middle) module will not separate from the Base module. The plastic slide is down but is offering a lot of resistance.

Also can anyone identify the error on this module.
Does a PLC need to reboot to force the parameter download?
