I'm looking for information about a winding machine for large diameter wire in a DC armature. I have seen this machine (a long time ago) and I think it was called an "Able" winder. It doesn't wind in the traditional sense (fly, needle, shed, etc.), instead you have to cut the magnet wire to length for the coil and insert it into the machine. Then the machine inserts the magnet wire into the armature. I have searched on line without success. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
