Font Problems in Creo drawings

Ever since I've replaced my computer and reinstalled all my software, I've no been able to get Creo to load my default font in 2D drawings.

The default font is installed in the Windows Fonts directory. The configuration option pro_font_dir is set correctly to C:\Windows\Fonts

My default font is Cordia New which is rather like Arial but lighter. Creo will find all of the other fonts in the Windows Font directory so I'm wondering if PTC has just stopped supporting it. But it worked fine on my old computer using the same version of Creo, so really confused why I can no longer get it to work.

If I click on a body of text and right click to edit text style, Cordia New is not listed as an option in the drop down of TTF fonts in the Windows Fonts

directory

Very odd???

Note that when the Drawings Properties popup is opened, there is a warning saying the font can't be found

I am confused. Cordia New is apparently a Thai font and not like Arial at all. It is shipped with Microsoft.

The related files are:

Cordia.ttf
Cordiab.ttf
Cordiaz.ttf
Cordiai.ttf

What I suspect is that you are using the -other- Cordia New, maybe from FontZone or the company Cordianew, which appears to be toast.

Can you just copy the font file to where Creo stores it's internal fonts?

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.
