Dear forummembers
Please share knowledge/experience
We have chemicals [let's say 99.9% methanol]. We unload these from car tanks to storage tanks and from storage tanks to a tanker. What if we store and load/unload these not using inert gas. E.g.:
- inbreath of car tanks by ambient air
- breathing of storage tanks by ambient air during let's say 7 days
- outbreath of tanker by ambient air and transport during let's say 7 days
Will [let's say] methanol become delited up to 99.8% as a result of such transloading?
I hope my idea is clear. Any links and personal experience will be appriciated.
