Is the flow correction needed?

Howdy all,

So I've been unsure of this for a while, but testing heat exchangers for leakage or pressure drop we regularly measure air flow, record it in units of mass flow, and then do a correction based on temperature and pressure. I think this makes sense if the measuring device is recording a volumetric flow and the pressure and temperature correction are needed to correct for density variations. But if the measuring device reads mass flow directly such as a thermal mass flowmeter or a Coriolis flowmeter I think we should not do the correction. I've copied on example test below and I want to ensure we're not overcorrecting something that is already reading an accurate value.
