Hi
I'm new to DNV standards, wps preparation of mentioned standard is based on appendix c. One of the essential variable in base material is manufacturing Process(rolled, forged, cast,...). I wanted to know if we get one of our PQR on a pipe(made by rolling and welding) to flange(forged) then is our WPS qualified for welding forged to forged, rolled to rolled and rolled to forged Product or it is only qualified for PQR type configuration ? and I will be so appreciated if any one knows about interpretation or guidelines about above standardthread378-307943

Assuming that you are referring to DNV-ST-F101, Appendix C, then C.6.3.8 gives a pointer. It is possible to adopt the proposed approach within all of the remaining essential variables including heat treatment condition, and type of alignment, for example.
