Hello, I would like to ask about spiral wound gaskets that have winding only, without any outer or inner rings.

Do standard sizes exist for these winding-only gaskets based on provided pipe size and rating?

For instance, what are the Inner Diameter (ID), Outer Diameter (OD), and Thickness for an 8-inch 150# spiral wound gasket with winding only?

Not within B16.20, the standard for spiral wound gaskets. In para SW-2.4 and SW-2.5, the rings specified are mandatory for most situations. Under certain conditions only, the inner ring is not required per the spec.

Spiral wound gaskets require support. To utilize without the support rings you must groove or counterbore one flange face. Work with your gasket manufacturer to identify standard thicknesses to avoid custom tooling. I believe spiral gaskets are typically wound to fit standard o-rings groove dimension.

I have 9.19" and 10.38" for the actual SPW sealing element ID and OD, respectively, for a 8"-150 B16.20 gasket, but as noted above B16.20 requires at least the outer ring so the item contemplated is not per B16.20, use at your own risk.
