My question is, basic engineering and detailed engineering have similar deliverables? Then what is the difference between those deliverables? Once we develop certain documents then what updates do we make to those deliverables in detailed engineering? Please explain in detail.

For example, there are P&ID's in Basic Engineering and there are P&ID's in detailed engineering. What are the differences between those two? What updates do we make to P&ID's in detailed engineering?

Few Basic Engineering deliverables are:
Basis of Design
Process Design Criteria
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
Process Description
Process Simulation
Heat and Material Balance
Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P & IDs)
Line List
Tie-in List
Equipment List
Equipment Process Datasheets
Instrument Datasheets
Operating, Control & Safeguarding Philosophy
Line Sizing & Hydraulic Report
Equipment Sizing Report
Material Selection Report
Utility Requirements
Chemical
Relief Valve Sizing and Dossier
Flare System and depressurization study
Shutdown Key
HAZID Review & HAZID Report
HAZOP / SIL Studies Participation

Few Detailed Engineering Deliverables include:
Design Basis
Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
Heat & Mass Balance
Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
Line List
Equipment List
Final Line Sizing and Hydraulic Report
Operating, Control and Safeguarding Philosophy
Commissioning Procedure & Plan
Plant Operating Manual

Where did you get these lists?
What is the context for these lists and question?

Basic Engineering Vs Detailed Engineering

Doesn't that sort of answer your question already? Nevertheless, a rather trivial Google search suggests that "basic engineering" is actually the preliminary design phase, wherein simpler analyses are performed to determine whether a "detailed" or "critical design" phase can be carried forth. In a typical preliminary design phase, size, weight, power, and cost (SWaPC) are essentially rule of thumb estimates, while in the critical design phase, more detailed estimates are based on parts counts, actual drawing dimensions and weights, etc.

Another example would be commissioning plans, where preliminary design calls out only the plan itself, while critical design would have a detailed procedure that would be the actual commissioning documentation and report.

The output of preliminary design is decision to proceed to critical design, based on preliminary SWaPC estimates and confirmation that there are no show stoppers for the program. Critical design output is build/manufacturing drawings, along with test and operational procedures.

So if you look at the product development V, detail design is the bottom of the V, Basic is the cascade down the left hand side, from customer requirements down to subsystems targets. If you aren't using the V approach, God help you, 1960 is calling, they want their product development methods back..

it looks like PDR and CDR ?

I think so, PDR would be towards the bottom of the left leg, and CDR somewhere very low down on the right leg

I'd have CDR at the base of the V, after detailed design, and PDR 1/2 way down the LH arm
