how can i do a stagewise construction in abaqus

I am trying to analyze the MSE wall, in that after the construction of each layer I need to apply a setting load of 8kPa on the top of that layer, and then again I need to deactivate that load for the next layer construction, but when I am doing this analysis using static general step, it is aborting again and again and while I am doing analysis using dynamic explicit analysis structure start to breaking in parts.

What are the error and warning messages in the static analysis ? It just doesn't converge ? The explicit analysis results suggest incorrect connections between the parts. You can use a frequency step to see if the parts are actually disconnected. Maybe you need to apply tie constraints (if you haven't already) and even use the model change feature to add more layers during the simulation.
