I have installed and commissioned a number of large burners on asphalt plants using propane in the liquid form (LP).
I have been asked to source a similar fuelled burner of about 13.8 MW for a watertube boiler. I cannot seem to find one. Obviously one difference is that asphalt plant rotary driers operate with a negative pressure combustion zone, whilst the boiler furnace will be pressurised.
Would be there any practical reason why it is not used?
