Calculating Natural Gas BTU or CFH Load for Existing Laboratory Building

Does anyone here know if there are any useful tables (International Fuel Gas Code maybe?) or methods to calculate BTU or CFH loads from turrets in laboratories? Honestly, any design guide resources on determining natural gas loads would serve me very well. I'm at a loss when sizing natural gas loads for large, university based academic-research buildings, as I have little idea of what will be connected to the natural gas turrets in the labs themselves. I can only imagine, bunsen burners, but as a designer, I have no idea what kind of Bunsen burner will be installed. Also, I imagine that there are other kinds of natural gas consuming devices in labs, that I am not aware of.

Any help is highly appreciated!
