Hi everyone,
We are a solution mining facility to extract and evaporate brine to produce nacl (multi-effect evaporator). I have a question regarding the impact of CaCL2 and CaSO4 on produced salt purity.
There are two scenarios:
1. Brine solution with CaCl2=0, CaSO4=5.6 g/l, the rest are nacl, mgcl2 and kcl.
2. Brine solution with cacl2=4 g/l, caso4=4.7g/l, the rest are nacl, mgcl2 and kcl.
My question is that which brine solution produce bad quality salt in terms of caso4 concentration in the final product and why?
Thanks,
J
