I have a question regarding Figure 1 in BS 799-5.
If i were designing a Type III tank
Lets assume the brimfull height for the required capacity of the tank to be at 0.5m
The code states at 6.1.2 a) that the design pressure equivelent for the design of this tank should be a height 0.5m above the roof of the tank
My question is using figure 1 to determine the pitch of the internal stiffeners would i use 1m or 0.5m?
Thank you for any help in advance
