Is it ok to use (permanent) copper/copper alloy piping/tubing in drinking water lines in residential complex.

yes if it is approved for residential use. there are different grades so you need to ask.

generally your will be required to use lead free soldering tech (and flux) for assembly, there again you have to ask.
