A quick one:

I am making an allowance for a sprinkler load that will be supported from the roof. I am thinking of using 5 PSF. Does this seem reasonable in the absence of a complete sprinkler design and layout? The facility is single story golf clubhouse.

Sounds reasonable to me. I typically use 3 or 4 psf for similar sprinkler loads.
 
Did a steel pre-eng building a couple of years ago, and they missed out the sprinkler loadings... They used 3 psf...
