I have been given the project of changing our corona treater from ceramic plates (Mica) to a glass material (Pyroceram) to cut costs. I need to make sure that the resistance between electrodes is close to being the same in order to create the right environment for the treatment. I'm already looking into finding materials with equal dielectric constants. Is there anything else I need to do or look into so that I don't ruin the treater or generators?
Any info would be great!

I can only suggest that you consider the porosity and absorption charcteristics over time and use on any material used with high voltage. Several years ago, techs tended to use old bic pens as test probes to save money. Alas, it turns out the bic plastic would absorb hand oils, and would lose its insulation charcteristics over time leading to shocking relevations for many a tech on saving cost.
