Can anyone suggest the best material ( or composite ) for a thin-walled tube? The tube must be non-rigid i.e. very flexible/springy, wall thickness less than 0.3mm, melting point above 150 deg C. Not easily torn. Item would be similar to a catheter tube, only much thinner. Many thanks.

Try a High Tear Strength Silicone Rubber
contact t.parker@leewood.de if you need more info

Try polyurethane, PEBAX (I thinkthere is only one manufacturer), or thermoplastic polyester elastomer like Hytrel or Arnitel.

At 0.3mm wall, even nylon might be flexable enough

Hi

try FEP, PUR, pebax yes - that is good idea - we used 3layer pebax - outer layer PEBAX 7233 SA 01, inner layer material HDPE quantum LM6007-00
