So what's round? The glass? Are the characters placed only in lines in the middle or are they throughout the circle? Or is it graphic? Need more info...including how many you need over what period of time.

Round LCD displays can be made by some of the low volume custom houses, But, expect to pay dearly for them. Small LCDs are typically made in a score & break process as an array from glass approximately 7" or 14" square glass stock. A round LCD would have to be cut and built individually.

The typcial approach when there is a call for a round display is to put the round graphics on a square display, and use the overlaying bezel to accent and give the appearance of being round.

The only round LCD I have seen was one for a Military aircraft application. I once saw a design using a hexagonal LCD in a high-end consumer product, but again the cost was high due to extra glass trimming and processing.
