Hi Neil, Cheng here. Sorry for bothering. It’s now 2025, and I’m still working on the settings for a SD14E relay. Similar to your post, I haven’t been able to find a manual for this relay. Would you be open to sharing any information you have on it? I’d really appreciate any help.

You posted about corrosion on a progressive cavity pump suffering of severe corrosion. Would you mind telling me if you finally were able to determine the source of the corrosion? When I saw the pictures, I immediately thought about cavitation but you specifically discarded that possibility due to the lack of noise, what make sense.
Did you figure out what the problem was?

I have a pipeline with a DP of 900 psi that will be Hydrotested to 1125 psi


in this pipeline there are 6 ball valves to drain/ vent the pipeline. Those valves (rating # 600) and accordingly the max operating pressure for those valves are 1480 psi.

can I hydrotest the pipeline with valves in closed position, and without installing blind flanges because it is difficult to remove during the hydrotest?
