Component/surface highlighting

Folks,

How do I enable highlighting for a complete objectt, i.e. entire components in an assembly, entire surfaces in a part? Is it somewhere in Options?

I've recently moved employers and my new employer's configuration only highlights the edges of a highlighted object and not the entire component or surface. I find it much harder to see what's selected/pre-selected.

Many thanks

Yeah that’s a display setting. Go to Options > System Options > Selection and check the “Highlight entire faces” or similar box. Should make it way easier to see what's selected.

Hi @brucesilver, thanks for that. Though I couldn't find the "System Options > Selection", your reply got me looking harder under General > Display > Navigation where I found "Highlight faces and edges" and "Prehighlight faces for preselection navigator". I flicked them both on and all is good now.

Thank you!
