Hi, Is there any guidelines for installing copper tape (of lightening protection system) within reinforced concrete? I noticed that a copper tape runs in concrete slab just rest on the rebar net. Is it OK? Isn't there any risk of affecting inhabitants during lightening? Thanks.

@Juan: 15mm layer out of 70mm compression zone is affected and it is unavoidable. Large number of conduits is the issue as it considerably reduce the amount of concrete in compression zone. According to ACI minimum spacing is 3 times the conduit diameter.
