    Strut Preloading Lock Off Load

    Sorry for the double posting, the other thread was deleted now. I forgot to clear up, (+/-) 20% of the design load would be 80-120% of the preloading load after lock off. Thanks for the pdf.

    Hello, I just want to ask what is the generally accepted safe percentage for the lock off load of struts? Currently we're doing (+/-) 20% of the design load.
