Does anyone know if there is a firewall/partywall requirement in a residential structure between the house and garage? Does it require a thickened slab being the foundation is monolithic poured, the wall is not load bearing, more of a seperator than anything
?? Alot of information that fibermesh reinforcement has tensile strength. This is a small structure and I am trying to incorporate the slab for uplift resistance. The old rule of thumb of 1.5 x the slab depth still apply for fibermesh? Thanks
