Hello all. I was wondering what the quickest approach would be to create curves though the center of a series of welded I-beams. I need to do this in order to create a 1D mesh on the FEM/SIM side. I basically need to create a frame of sorts out of lines/curves. Any ideas?
Thanks
For some reason, I can only view one side of a midsurface/sheet in my model. Even after doing a 2D mesh, only one side of the mesh can be viewed. Is there a setting I may have hit by accident to do this? this only happens in the fem/sim.
Thanks
I'm trying to perform a FEM check of sorts by placing an enforced displacement set at a specific distance so that the entire model moves at that distance.I'm having difficulties getting these results. Currently I have an Enforced Displacement constraint on one node of a TET10 specified in one...

Assume you have a plate with a rigid box attached to it by 4 screws. Using the location of center of mass of the box you place a node or 0d mass there, apply a load or other applied forces (direction doesnt matter). Would you use an rbe2 or rbe3 from the cg to the bolts?

I am currently trying to find a way to display each fastener's maximum force results from my CBUSH elements (Spring-Dashpot Resultant) for several subcases. Is there a way to combine the maximum result values from each subcase into one display?
Thanks
