    pump unloading schematics question

Hi, thank you for the reply. So the highlighted valve has the same pressure as the valve # 1? My question is : couldn't the system work without it? In this configuration, the P1 should first overcome the spring of the highlighted valve a then unload through valve 1. Wouldn't be easier...

    pump unloading schematics question

Hi, I have a question regarding the pump unloading valve. Below is the link to the datasheet: https://apps.boschrexroth.com/products/compact-hydraulics/ch-catalog/pdf/059006XYZ_RE18310-13.pdf I cannot understand what is the point of the section (valve) encircled in a picture below. I believe...

    cooling water seals

EPDM is the way to go. 120°F is less than 49 °C which is terribly low.

Thanks for the reply. The problem with EPDM is that is not available in various sizes.

    cooling water seals

Thanks for the answer. I don not know the exact compound yet. Since the temperature is the main issue, I am afraid the NBR will not do the job for me.

    cooling water seals

Hi, Does anybody have any experience regarding cooling water (glycol + water) compatibility with FKM and NBR seals? I am referring to the O-rings which can be found on hydraulic hose fittings. I found this compatibility table from Parker...

205 VDC vs 230 VAC coils

Hi, I came across a hydraulic valve with 205 VDC coil recently. The coil has a connector with rectifier mounted on it. That means that the voltage applied to the coil is 230 VAC. I am wondering, why not use an AC valve with 230 VAC coils instead of valve with 205 VDC coils?

    help identifying a flange

Hi, Need some help to identify a flange. Attached are the photos of the flange. According to the designations I would say it could be ASME B16.5 flange with groove RTJ. Any opinion would be appreciated. Thank you.

    dr10 interface seal size

    Perhaps you could use: 21.89 x 2.62 12.42 x 1.78 Those are the standard o-rings (see page 3 below): https://www.parker.com/literature/Industrial-Systems-Division-Europe/Catalogues/Industrial%20Valves%20UK/02/Access02.pdf
