Hi,

Need some help to identify a flange.
Attached are the photos of the flange.

According to the designations I would say it could be ASME B16.5 flange with groove RTJ.

Any opinion would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Errr, yes.

The markings say its a 2" asme [edit] b16.5, class 1500 Weld neck flange drilled to match XXS pipe. With a R24 RTJ ring gasket.

It is though made of A694 F52, which is usually used for pipelines made to MSS SP 44 and welded to API 5L X52 or higher strength pipe.

Thank you for replying.

Did you mean B16.5 instead od B15.5?

Of course, asme B 16.5.

But as said it uses a material not listed in b16.5, but is in mss sp 44. Dimensions though [tt][/tt]are identical.

Bit of a dirty valve....
