Water brine solution for freezing purpuses

I was thinking I was thinking about the same system that is used for making ice blocks ( as i understand such system uses water brine solution ).. Such brine solution have freezing temp far below zero Celsius ( -21 C). Now if we can arrange the evaporator of basic Vapor compression...

Foam concrete using dish soap as foam agent.

Thank you for the given information.. I really appreciate it... And if you do not mind what should be density of the resulted foam as kg/litre to be stable and durable...

Foam concrete using dish soap as foam agent.

Dear members: I plan to make foam concrete for low load structure. I think of using dish soap as foam agent using home- made foam generator...and i have a Q about what should be the air pressure in such process?? Because i have seen a video on you tube for the famous aircrete Harry on which he...

Water brine solution for freezing purpuses

It is me and to make my Q clear and specific: why the ice blocks are not made samply by using walk-in freezers ??? Why does it have to be using brine solution

Water brine solution for freezing purpuses

Thank you for the reply : As I understand the water brine solution in the case of an ice block machine should be made with 23% NaCl by mass or volume? The brine temp should go down to minus 10-15 celsius... that is why I asked if such system can be used for freezing purposes instead of using...

Water brine solution for freezing purpuses

Thank you for your reply, I am trying to do same thing as ice block machine which as I guess works well using water brine solution..... I was looking for something more releated to heat transfer, thermodynamics basics. Thank you anyway..

Water brine solution for freezing purpuses

Dear members: I have an idea of using water brine solution for freezing plastic water bottles, how practical such design? I think about using same idea of vapor compression refrigration unit but the evaporator (will not be an insulated room with crazy fans running inside, with the importance of...

Organic rankine cycle with propane gas as HTF.

Thank you very much guys!! this information is what I was looking for about propane organic Rankine cycle.

    Cooling tower design

For those information about how much water in the bowl and what time required! The water bowl is small enough about 12 cm diameter from bottom and about 15 cm from above with water thickness about 3-4 cm . For the time I need to check it but sure more than 3 hours..

Thank you guys for your interaction, I really appreciate it..

    Cooling tower design

You are right ,I assume in case of cooling tower the outlet air from top shoud be more humid and cooler than inlet air from below.. I have not checked yet what air outlet temp because my goal is to cool water no matter what happens to the air... That is why we feel cold breezes of air coming...

    Cooling tower design

A week ago , i got water temp drop of 10 celsius at 1:00 p.m (ambient air temp about 24 celsius, humidity 16 ,final water temp about 14 celsius) simply by putting a water bowl in the home surface with wind air passing through without any insulation.. That is why I expected more temp drop with...

Organic rankine cycle with propane gas as HTF.

Hi guys: as I understand organic rankine cycle usually uses fluid with boiling temp less than water (below 100 celsius) with different heat sources such as waste heat, solar heat, geothermal heat... Now I read sime articals about using propane gas which needs minus 42 degrees to start boiling...

    Ammonia-water refrigration system.

Hi guys: I have an idea of using hot water (the water temp is about 50 celsuis if not more coming from water well) to run ammonia-water refrigeation unit. however in most of the articals I read about such process it looks like the minimum evaporator temperature we can get with such system is...
